One zap was all it took to knock Maxsodin out. It was simple really, she would realize what happened until after the had taken the pill. I handed the pill to Nexan, saying this, "She'll wake up in a minute or two. Tell her she passed out and this pill will make her stomach feel better. Yes, I programmed the shock to leave her with a cramping stomach. I've studied her brain patterns over the last few days and it seems the darkness does not appear right after she wakes up, whether from passing out or sleeping. She will be a 'normal' Maxsodin when she wakes up." Nexan takes the pill and hurries off. I see her appear in the camera of Maxsodin's room. She moves Max to the bed in the room and props up her head. Nexan doesn't have time to drag the lone chair over to the bedside before Max wakes.
"Maxsodin, you passed out. Do you feel all right?" Nexan looks worried. Funny, I didn't think she genuinely cared for Maxsodin. Even I know by now that Nexan can't act.
"Yeah," Max croaks, her voice rough. She points to her stomach. Nexan hold out a pill.
"This should make you fell better. I figured your head was hurt when I saw you pass out. You hit your head. Anyway, take this."
Maxsodin swallows the pill thankfully and lays her head against the pillow. Nexan slowly walks to the door and exits.
A few minutes later she is back in my control room, where I pretty much sleep now. Everyone knows where to find me here.
"Thank you, I don't know what we could have done without this." She gives me a hug, which I return, startled by this show of friendship.
Nice goin' Superior. I was supposed to post first.
