Organization Meeting part 2

Everyone, from VII and up, discussed what they had been doing and what they required. It seemed to Maxy that she really hadn't missed much. Daxjorn said she had done a bit of training, but she needed a bit more of a real-life scenario to work in. Xahnan said she'd fixed the toasted and needed to hone her skills. Seycax explained how she really needed to practice more.
When it came to Braxyd's turn, he said he'd take Daxjorn and practice their powers out in an open area. Nexan agreed whole-heartedly to this, telling them to leave as soon as they could. Maxy stared hard at Braxyd. She could see right through his lies.
Next it was Xahssa. Maxsodin didn't care too much that she had been skipped. It was hard for her to control her tongue; a slip-up would cause her to become embarrassed and potentially angry to a point of violence.
Xahssa said that she needed to get back into person to person combat. Even though Max was staring at her hands, she knew Xahssa was looking at her when she said this.
Nexan nodded, obviously expecting to hear what she did.
"Right," she said. "Now let's get on to more pressing matters."
She turned to Maxsodin. "Please leave, Maxy." she said quietly.
Maxsodin's irritated stare bored into Nexan as she stood. She didn't like secrets being kept from her. Everyone, even Daxjorn, knew that much.
The chair made a loud squeak as Maxsodin stood. In the silence that followed, Max turned on her heel and padded quietly out of the room.
Closing the door behind her with care, Maxy sighed heavily. As much as they could act like everything was normal, Maxsodin knew it wasn't. They acted like she was unintelligent, like she wouldn't be able to link together the fact that they were discussing "pressing matters" while she was out of the room. That used to be true, but Maxsodin was recovering. Not physically, not even emotionally, but she was recovering in memory.
Placing her back to the wall by the door, Max slid down until she was sitting, resting her head in her hands. She would wait there for Nexan to come out and lead her where ever the Superior wished the weak member to go. It was beyond Maxsodin to rebel anymore. Right now, it was trust and be trusted. And both were being difficult to accomplish for Max.
