Swirling, confusing, throbbing darkness.
It hurt my head. It hurt everything. I could feel my pained scream ripping from my throat, and yet I heard nothing.
Nothing but the swirling, confusing, throbbing darkness.
And then stillness.
It took a minute for me to open my eyes again. The pain was still there. It was still everywhere.
But the swirling, confusing, throbbing darkness had faded from my sight.
I felt my head spinning. It was still swirling. The world around me was swirling. But it soon stopped.
Interrogation room: check.
Handcuffs: check.
Braxyd: No sign.
I felt a newfound power. My strength had returned. Not all the way, no not by a long shot. But some of it was back.
I stared long and hard the handcuffs. Slowly, they began to be devoured by darkness. To see the darkness scared me out of my wits, but I held my stare until the handcuffs were gone.
I flexed my fingers. The power returned. Silently, I paced the room.
