Maxsodin pushed the door open to the Training room. She had calmed down considerably on her walk over. She seemed almost normal.
She entered and saw Riku and Kairi. Not a sign of Sora. Maxy frowned.
"Where's Sora?" she asked, unable to hide the menace in her voice.
"He'll be here soon." was Riku's curt response. He didn't seemed to like Maxsodin any more than she liked him.
Maxsodin eyed him frostily, and he equaled the look. Kairi seemed nervous at the two's distrust. It made Maxsodin disgusted. The girl should have expected this. They had entered her territory now.
"So he'll just show up when he feel like it, is that it? Maxsodin strutted casually over to a training dumbing, decapitating it in one swift movement. She turned to face Riku, the Keyblade in her hand enough of a challenge than any words she could say.
"He'll show up when it suits him, yes." Riku was stiff, but he didn't arm himself. Maxsodin could tell he was trying his best to obey orders.
Maxsodin smirked thinly, the Keyblade vanishing.
"Oh, okay, right." she said, leaning against the wall, examining her fingernails coolly.
He nodded stiffly, and the air became palpable with relief.
Maxsodin looked up, a grin splicing her features.
"So Riku, Kairi," she said, looking at their puzzled faces. "What's this all about? What's Sora want?"
Kairi easily fell for Maxy's trap. "To help him kill heartless. They're popping up everywhere!"
Maxsodin looked to Riku, trying her best to mask her anger. "Really? You're not capturing them now?"
He stuttered with indignation. "Well, there's tons of them! We can't just capture them like that! It's hard, and we can't do it with hundreds of them attacking us! We have to kill them!"
Maxy's face showed no emotion. Her eyes simply darkened; in emotion and in color.
"You can tell Sora I've already made up my mind then," she turned towards the door. "I'm not helping."
"But you can't you just can't!" Maxsodin didn't bother to mask her annoyance for Kairi this time. She glared at her fiercely.
"He's your brother, Maxsodin!" she said in a dramatic plea.
Again, Maxsodin turned towards the door. "He's not my brother," she muttered, just barely loud enough for Riku and Kairi to hear. "He's not Maxsodin's brother..."
And then she was gone.
