Maxsodin came awake to seven faces staring down at her with baited breath. She smiled weakly, utter exhaustion hitting her like a train.
"That was some good exercise you got there, huh?"
And out of total fatigue, Maxsodin passed out.
Nexan stood up, sighing audibly. "Phew! we ought to get her somewhere to sleep. I don't know how long she'll be out, but I can bet it'll be a while!"
Sora nodded. "Right. Got anywhere in mind?"
Nexan smiled. "Does Castle Oblivion sound good enough for you?"
Ten years after Organization XIII fell, the peace was disturbed. Four friends rose from the ashes of the once grand Organization with one goal in mind: defeat Sora once and for all! We shall see to it that our story is told. How we started from nothing, and became great. And we will tell it as it happens, for Organization IV has not been official for long. We must remain hidden... we mustn't be found... and yet we must grow strong...

Awake
Braxyd chased the crazed Maxsodin, trying hard not to let her let away from him. She couldn't desert him now, not when they could be real again. He tackled her, pinning her down. Xassha, Nexan and the rest appeared behind him.
The struggling form of Maxsidon suddenly stopped squirming. She closed her eyes. Nexan knelt beside III, willing the old Max to come back, to suppress the dark in her heart. She did.
Breaking Free
Somewhere in the unconscious depths of her mind, Maxsodin was pacing.
Somewhere, in those depth, she was worrying.
And somewhere, the real Maxsodin was trapped.
Maxsodin kept hearing the occasional faint scream, setting her nerves on edge. Around her a feeling of peace was attempting to penetration her mind, to engulf her senses and block her out for good. And yet she had the strength to resist it. She had a REASON to resist it.
Pacing, ever pacing. Maxsodin didn't think she could stop. Pacing... pacing...
There was no way out. The Darkness had no weakness, no point for her to focus her effort at. And yet Maxsodin refused to think she was finished.
Somewhere she was trapped. Somewhere...
The feeling of peace began to ooze into her tired form. Slowly, her determination began to ebb. Maxsodin could not help but feel a wave of exhaustion sweep over her. Her eyes drooped. As she tried vainly to keep them open, the stronger the need to close them was.
And as the eye lids of the real Maxsodin began to close for the last time, Maxsodin felt something. In her chest, slightly to the left. It was a feeling of warmth. A slow smile spread on her face as she placed a hand on that source of heat. Concentrating on it as she gave her last effort to break free, to gain control again.
Concentrating on the one thing that separated her from everyone else.
The tiniest dust of what she still had from her previous life.
Her heart.
Somewhere, in those depth, she was worrying.
And somewhere, the real Maxsodin was trapped.

Her heart.
Zut.
Nexan stared at what Maxsodin had become. SHe hadn't wanted this. Nexan knew that if Sora knew about the connection between Kingdom Hearts and the Heartless, he would have helped. But Maxsodin had become enraged at what she thought Nexan would do.
"Maxsodin, listen to me. I was never going to hurt Sora. You know that. Somewhere in there, you know that. Snap out of it. Now!" Nexan voice rose as the former Maxsodin growled at her.
"What do you mean 'never gonna hurt me?'" Sora asked, somewhat ignoring the savage Maxsodin.
"Kingdom Hearts controls the Heartless, why else would I want to destroy it?!" Nexan said, "Xemnas wanted to control Kingdom Hearts, not destroy it. He wanted control over Kingdom Hearts, over the Heartless. "
"What can we do about Maxsodin? I don't think this is normal," RIku backed away as Maxsodin lunged at him.
"Braxyd, grab her!" Nexan screamed, frantic to get her under control.
Sora walked into the battle ground. Five hooded figures stood at the other end. Sora saw Riku give his Keyblade a few nervous swings. Shouldering the Kingdom Key, Sora took a step forth.
"If you've come to ask me to help destroy Kingdom Hearts, then I'm afraid you're wasting your time."
The center figure of the five strode out and took off her hood. "It was the NEGOTIABLE part of our being here, but not the entire reason. You sure you don't wish to help us?"
Sora nodded and took a battle stance. "Absolutely!"
Just as Nexan signaled for the attack, a voice called out. "Wait!"
Everyone turned in the direction of the voice. A portal opened up and another hooded figure tumbled out of it clumsily. Sora couldn't take his eyes off her. There was something familiar about her...
The spell was broken when Nexan did a face palm. "Maxsodin! NOT a good time to show up!"
The figure threw off her hood and ran in between Nexan and Sora, which had closed to only a few feet. She spread out her arms and stared at Nexan. "I CAN'T let you harm Sora!"
Surprisingly, it was Sora who asked the question. "Why?"
She turned and locked her grayish-blue yes with his blue ones. "Because Sora! You're my brother!"
There was a prickly silence as the secret was thrown out into the open. Nexan's sickle appeared at Maxsodin's throat.
"Choose, Maxy." she said coldly, the light of battle in her eyes. "His side, or ours."
And Maxsodin knew then that Nobodies did indeed NOT have hearts. At least, she thought, NORMAL Nobodies.
Maxsodin's Keyblade appeared in her hand and in the same instant knocked the sickle point away from her throat. "Nexan..." she said pleadingly. "The moment this battle starts, it won't be ME in this battle." she said, already loosing feeling in her feet and legs, a sure sign of the Darkness taking over. "It will be the Darkness itself..."
As Maxsodin felt more and more of herself becoming possessed by the Darkness. Xahssa tried to run up and help her, but Nexan held them back, all three of them backing away from Maxsodin.
"What happening...?" Sora asked, backing up too.
"Sora..." Maxsodin gasped out. "Brother...! I love you..."
Then her eyes became totally black and she have a horrific shudder. For a moment, she stood still. Then she flexed her neck, her figures, her arms.
Her voice was gravelly and deep like thunder, and it seemed to come from all around them. "Hello Sora, my old enemy!"
The Darkness had control of Maxsodin: her body, her thoughts, and even her weapon.

Prep
Nexan popped into the room where everyone was. She eyed them and spoke,
"In just a few short minutes, we will be heading into a potential bloodbath. Be prepared. Have the potions you need and your weapon ready for your call. If Sora does not agree with our views, we will have to resort to force. "
"Wait, agree with our views? What are you talking about," Seycax asked, unsure of the motive.
"If Sora will not join us in our quest to rid the world of Kingdom Hearts, we will have to dispose of him," Xassha explained calmly. Maxsodin better be there, she thought to herself.
"Ready?" Nexan waited for the silent nods then opened a portal. "In you go," she motioned for them to enter the dark abyss, then followed them into an uncertain future.
Yes, It Begins
Sora stared at the odd note he had received. Riku looked at it over his shoulder.
"You gonna go?" he asked Sora.
Sora read the note to himself one last time.
It ends today. Everything ends today. Only one will walk away from this battle: either the Organization, or you, Sora. Either way, it ends today.
Nexan, I
Sora shrugged. "Is there any other choice?"
Riku looked directly into his eyes. "Sora, it could be a trap."
Sora smiled his confident smile. "I know, but it IS our last chance to finally end the rein of Evil. I think I should go."
Riku shouldered his Keyblade. "I'm going too, then."
"To the battle!"
* * *
Maxsodin sat on the pier, unable to think. Thinking only brought confusion, and the confusion more thinking, as the cycle went. The words of Nexan echoed in her empty head, mixing with the words of her dream Roxas. And out of those two jumbled memories, one thought was born.
It ends today, whatever the outcome. Only I can choose HOW.
Some kinship instinct told Maxsodin that Sora would be there. He WOULD come. Maxsodin had to follow whatever theoretical heart Roxas had told her to follow.
And some throbbing deep inside her told Maxsodin there was no escaping destiny.
"You were always destined for something greater..." Sora's words echoed around her.
Swelling her chest, Maxsodin let out a shuddering sigh. "I'm the master of Darkness. I control IT, and it will do as I say!"
Her figures began to give off a glow that looked like black fog. Grabbing the air around her, Maxsodin pried open a portal. Shutting her eyes and willing herself to arrive where she needed to go, Maxsodin stepped into the portal, and left the peaceful atmosphere of Port Royal behind her.
"You gonna go?" he asked Sora.

Nexan was flustered, she still needed to get everyone ready and find III.
"First things first," she muttered to herself and vanished
Maxsodin was watching a ship preparing to leave for sea. She swung her legs over the side of the pier. Nexan suddenly appeared next to her and sat down. Maxsodin jumped slightly.
"Listen Maxsodin, I don't care what this is about. I-we really need your help with this. Unless Sora goes down, Kingdom Hearts can never be destroyed. Once we destroy it, we get our hearts back. Heartless disappear and the worlds go back to normal. I know that you aren't the definition of a regular Nobody, but this has to happen. With, or without you. I really want you to be there though. It would mean so much to me, to all of us. So please, come," Nexan stood as she spoke the last sentence and opened a portal.
"I'll leave this open for you, if you decide to join us. See you soon Max?" Nexan stepped into the dark and disappeared, leaving her tentative smile imprinted in Maxsodin's mind.

Maxsodin was in a peaceful meadow. There was nothing but endless sky and hills. Sora was walking towards her, a confident yet gentle smile radiating off of him. Maxsodin knew it was a dream buy the soft lighting and the floating feeling inside her. But she didn't want it to ever end.
She ran up to Sora, letting him embrace her in his arms, letting his brotherly love envelope her. There was nothing quite the same. So secure and confident. For once in her life Maxsodin felt truly safe.
"I wish I was never taken from you." Maxsodin said, her own voice sounding far away.
Sora's voice was deep, yet soft as he spoke. "It was always in you to belong to something bigger. To make more of a difference."
Maxsodin unburied her face from his sweet smelling clothes, staring up at his face. He had changed. He looked like Roxas now, as if she were talking with that part of her brother.
"You faced my same challenge. What can I do when I have to fight Sora?"
Roxas smiled sweetly, and Maxsodin felt like she was very little, and were asking those silly questions like "Why is the sky blue?" or "Where does the snow come from?"
"You will know as I did what is right. You will feel it in your heart."
Maxsodin's spirit fell a little. "But I have no heart..."
Again, Roxas smiled that sweet smile as he backed off, becoming Sora as he was washed in the soft light and lost from sight. "Look inside yourself, dear sister. You will find one is there..."
Maxsodin was lost in the darkness of unconsciousness once more. But she was ready to fight. She had to get up. Dying wasn't the answer. Something had to be done to save her brother.

What was it like?
Friday, December 3, 2010
Maxsodin crunched on the cone of her fourth ice cream that morning. Xahssa shook her head in disgust as Maxsodin shoved the remaining cone in her mouth and licked her figures with relish. "MMM shmn ood!"
Xahssa placed her hand over her face. "Maxsodin, PLEASE wait until you swallow that mess!"
After some effort, Maxsodin did indeed swallow and cleared her through. "I said 'Yum, that's good'."
Immediately, Maxsodin eyed up the sea salt ice cream Xahssa hadn't finished. Xahssa sighed and handed it over. Maxsodin bolted it down in no time flat.
Licking her figures as she gulped down the sweet mixture, Maxsodin questioned Xahssa "So... what brings... you out 'ere.. tryin'... ta find me?" She said, pausing in between to lick each individual finger.
Xahssa answered by spraying her face with a blast of water, cleansing it of the sticky ice cream. Maxsodin gave a cry of protest. Rubbing her eyes to regain her vision, Maxsodin saw that Xahssa was up and walking out of the store. Maxsodin hopped from her seat and ran over to her friend's side. Together, they wandered the streets, conversing in low tones.
"I came find you because what you did was stupid."
Maxsodin stared at her blankly. Xahssa sighed and tried to explain it simply. "Look, running off like that and simultaneously leaving that much information that the diary made EVERYONE suspicious of your true motives. Seycax, for example, will now on consider you a deserter and traitor."
Upon seeing the worried expression cross her face, Xahssa quickly explained to Maxsodin. "No but not me, Maxy! Not me or Nexan OR Braxyd! We've known you too long, too personally, to believe you'd do such a thing."
"But you still didn't answer my question!" Maxsodin protested. "Why did you bother to come find me?"
"Because you're my friend! Your problems are my problems!"
"More than you know..." breathed Maxsodin.
Just then a figure staggered out of an ally towards them. The man was burnt and blackened. Maxsodin and Xahssa watched him stagger out onto the street before collapsing. And out from the ally from which the man came, Braxyd strode forth, snapping his wrists to extinguish the flames. He looked down the street and then up the street. Spotting him, Maxsodin's face became pale, and she started to back off, her eyes wide with fear.
"Maxsodin?" Xahssa said.
Upon hearing her name, Braxyd looked in their direction and began running towards them. Xahssa looked at Maxsodin, then at Braxyd. Then she remembered what the diary had said: Braxyd was programmed to destroy Maxsodin!
Xahssa ran up to Braxyd, meeting him half way. She barred his path with a haughty glare and menacing water torrents rushing around her hand to form her trident.
"Braxyd, I WON'T let you harm Maxy!"
"No, no! You don't understand, Xahssa!" Braxyd said, trying to glance around her and spot Maxsodin. "It's gone! My programming is gone!"
"What!?" Xahssa's trident disappeared.
"Yeah! Number V deleted my programing!"
"That's great B! Let's go tell Max-" She turned around to beckon Maxsodin, but she was missing. "Where did she-"
A startled cry echoed faintly on the breeze. Xahssa and Braxyd looked at each other. Both their eyes reflected the same panic and horror. The cry was unmistakable.
Maxsodin!

Maxsodin!
getting things fixed up
“Nexan, you have to look at this,” Braxyd said hastily as he shoved a note into here hands.
“What is it Braxyd you’re interrupting my snack… oh my god! Where did you find this Braxyd? Why would she leave? Maybe it’s because of this. You should take a look.”
She shoved a leather bound book out offering it for Braxyd to read.
“I have read it already.”
“You have!?!”
“Of course. I told maxy that I was different. I am different because of my ‘programming’. That bastard is gonna make me kill Maxsodin, but we shouldn’t worry about that now I heard there was a new nobody snooping around C.O.” Braxyd lied so he could be alone with number five, the tech wizard of the organization. “Take Xahssa and Seycax with you I need Xahnan here to monitor the security systems.”
“ok we will leave now” with a snap of here fingers the superior was gone.
Xahnan was typing on the organization computer when Braxyd walked in, “hey I need you to do something for me. Can you reprogram my mind?”
Braxyd lay on the exam table; two cables were probed into his head. Xahnan pressed multiple buttons on here keyboard and smiled. A job well done on her part. She removed the probes and slapped him across the face. “OWW that really hurt. You sure know how to wake a guy. Did it work?”
“There is only one way to find out. Please bring her back and I might be able to help her too.”
“I love you like a sister. I will bring her back.”
"I know that’s what I’m worried about for her.”

It was a long day of training, burning toast, confusion and more training. Xahssa uncaringly slunk towards the hall where the Organization rooms were held. She lingered for a moment in front of Braxyd's door, listening closely to make sure he wasn't in the room. When she confirmed what she thought, she turned to the left where Maxsodin's unoccupied room faced her. Xahssa frowned at the neglected air the room let off, not liking the fact that Maxsodin had yet to return back to the Organization.
She had panicked when Nexan entered the dining hall to inform them that Maxsodin had disappeared. Seycax seemed scandalized, thinking it disrespectful to leave the Organization in such a way, and Brayxd stared ahead with a blank face. It chilled her to see the unconcerned look the Braxyd had on his face, as if he didn't care that their friend was gone. Perhaps that was the way that he delt with his troubles.
Turning from the room, she wandered over to what she thought was her room. It wasn't until she was actually in the bedroom when she realized that it wasn't her room, but the Superior's. Xahssa felt the urge to search around but her instinct told her that she wouldn't like what she found and begged her to turn around and forget that she even went into this room. She disregarded that fact, feeling a little like a child as she crept around the room carefully, attempting to be sneaky. Feeling quite bored with the lack of interesting things in Nexan's room, she turned to leave when she saw a black book.
The title on the book was hard to read from a distance, so she went closer and she let out a small gasp. So this is what the Superior hides in her room! She glanced behind her at the doorway before her hand shot out and grabbed the book. Xahssa ran out of the room, hiding it in her cloak.
When she got to the sanctuary of her room, she shut the door and sat on the floor. She flipped open the book and scanned the pages. Useless stuff about the ins and outs of the previous Organization. What a jacked up bunch. Couldn't even destroy one kid and there were thirteen of them. She thought, slightly amused.
It wasn't until she got towards the end of the diary did things get interesting. The book was slammed shut when she was done as she leaned her head forward and supported it on the book's binding. Xahssa attempted to sort through the mind-boggling information she just recieved. Maxsodin was the sister of Sora. The four of them were chosen specifically. Braxyd was designed to kill Maxsodin. She wasn't supposed to have a Keyblade. Everything defied what it should have been.
Xahssa shot up immediately, the book falling to the floor. There was only one thing to do. Find Maxsodin.
Maxsodin shivered, leaning against the wall of an ice cream parlor. The rain was warm as it hit her back, but she felt as though every drop was colder than anything she's ever felt. She was so hungry, but too tired to get up and buy something. Maxsodin even felt herself yearning for Xahssa's burnt toast and Nexan's quirky sandwich choices, like guacamole and fish.
She was too deep in her thoughts that she didn't see or hear someone approach.
"Hey." Maxsodin's eyes widened. She knew that voice. Her head jerked up. Xahssa. Her face was smiling and hesitant and her hair completely dry despite the pouring rain. Maxsodin was too speechless to talk. "You there Maxy?" Hearing her use Braxyd's nickname for her was odd and so startling that Maxsodin actually spoke.
"Xahssa." Her voice was hoarse from lack of use. "I thought I told you not to find me." Xahssa rolled her eyes.
"Please, Max. I'm not stupid. I know that you were trying to help us but you're not. Just because you're Sora's sister doesn't mean anything. At least to me. You're still clumsy, confusing Number III. Now come on. Let's get you something to eat."
The best words Maxsodin's heard all day.

Where am I?
Maxsodin was totally lost in the streets of Halloween Town. Rain had already throughly drenched her and her coat, but still it poured down in silent persistence. A woeful atmosphere hung over the deserted streets. The rain clouds blocked all star- and moon-light from reaching her. Maxsodin shuddered in cold loneliness.
It was no world for her.
Finding a bench, she curled up on the cold, wet surface and tried to sleep off the exhaustion that felt like a thousand pounds tied to her feet. The only sound was the ominous rumble of thunder and the quite pattering of the raindrops.
But sleep would not come. Maxsodin lay there, wondering about her only friends. Their faces appeared in her mind: The ghost of a smile that always hovered on Nexan's stern face; the cheery smile that Xahssa always had when she teasingly threatened her; the tough-guy smile that always covered up Braxyd's playful, childish self. How she missed them all.
A tear rolled down Maxsodin's already soaked face. She frowned as she recalled one fact that made her leave: those were the old days. Now Nexan's presence was threatening, Xahssa would scold her for what she didn't understand, Braxyd doubting their loyalty towards each other.
Maxsodin lay on the bench in the rain, focusing on the happy thoughts of her friends, trying to find reason for why those days had to go away. But the persistent answer that kept coming up made Maxsodin less and less happy: She was the reason.
Why did it have to be her? Why was Sora HER sibling?
Maxsodin was awakened by a glimmer of sunlight that tickled her eyes open. Dawn. She had to move.
Maxsodin sat upright. Her entire body ached from the night in the cold wetness. Rolling her shoulders and wincing, Maxsodin stood up slowly and began to locate the nearest ally.
Another day; perhaps she would find more answers.

Note Left on Maxsodin's Bed
Dearest Friends,
Yes I am gone. Don't bother looking for me. I have no idea where I'll go. Don't worry, I'll be back in under a week's time. I only need to sort out my thoughts. Alone. Please do not think less of me for needing time away from that hate and misery of The Darkness.

Secrets No Longer
Nexan walked into the training room. It was really early, before dawn even, which gave her all the reason to startle when she found Maxsodin in there.
She was wearily prodding at the wall. She seemed dead, or at least half asleep. Nexan was truly puzzled. Maxsodin NEVER woke this early. Then why was she up and training?
Summoning her sickle, Nexan walked silently over to Maxsodin. The weary figure failed to notice her arrival.
"Hey." Nexan said quietly, not wanting to disturb the silence that hung thickly in the air.
Maxsodin stopped prodding and slowly turned to look at Nexan. She blinked her bloodshot eyes and turned back to prodding.
"Hey." she answered, her voice hoarse and groggy.
"Why you up so early?" Nexan began whipping her sickle skillfully around a stuffed dummy, making precise and actuate cuts in the tough fabric.
"Couldn't sleep. Too much on my mind." Maxsodin said. She staggered over to a dummy next to Nexan and began half-heartedly attacking it.
They practiced in silence for a while. Nexan felt guilty about how she treated Maxsodin after her ordeal. She hadn't meant to be so harsh, it was just the pressures of running the Organization combined with the ever nagging question of what to do with Maxsodin had made her so.
Some time pasted. Nexan had been racking her brain for how to apologize when Maxsodin sighed.
"I'm sorry, Nex." she said woefully.
"Sorry? You? For what? I'm the one that's done all the wrong!" Naxan stopped practicing to stare in puzzlement at Maxsodin.
Maxsodin shrugged. "Well, you had the right to be the way that you were. I know I would have been if I had needed to deal with the likes of me. But me, I shoulda known better. As soon as I found out about my condition I shoulda left. I shoulda rid you guys of me, rid you guys of your biggest problem."
"Max..." Nexan felt immediate sympathy towards Maxsodin. If she would have know Maxsodin had found out about her condition...
"Here Nex. Maybe you'll understand better with this. I... I was keeping it from you cuz... cuz well,... here..."
Maxsodin held her palm up and a leather-bound book vaporized from darkness in it. Hanging her head sheepishly, Maxsodin held the book out for Nexan.
Still puzzled, Nexan took the book. She stared at Maxsodin then read the cover: The Diary of Xemnas, Head of Organization XIII
"The last few entries is what you need." Maxsodin said.
But as Nexan looked up to question Maxsodin, she had vanished.

But as Nexan looked up to question Maxsodin, she had vanished.
Oh Crap...
Maxsodin stared at the memo with relief.
She was safe. For now at least. Her slip-up was forgotten.
Letting out a heaving sigh of relief, Maxsodin flopped onto her bed. Xemnas's diary, which had been sitting on the bed, now flew a small distance into the air. As it came down, Maxsodin caught it skillfully with one hand. She laughed aloud at her luck.
Fanning through the pages for the zillionth time, Maxsodin allowed the pages to breath history to her. Again and again she fanned the pages, until her hands slipped and the book fell to the floor with a mute thud.
Growling quietly with frustration, Maxsodin lay on her stomach, reaching down off the bed for the book. Grabbing a hold of the back cover (for the book had landed face down), Maxsodin haled it back up to the bed.
She stared at the inside of the back cover. There was writing there she hadn't noticed before. She read the quickly and not so neatly written words.
To whosoever finds my diary,
In my perfect plan, I have found but one flaw. Yet it is a major flaw. Maxsodin mustn't be allowed to stay in the Organization. As I have only now found out, she is the younger sibling to that accursed Sora. This allows her to wield a Keyblade. DO NOT LET HER WIELD A KEYBLADE. If you have already made the mistake of allowing her, there is no turning back. The immense power of a Keyblade combined with the sheer power Maxsodin possesses is a deadly if not fatal combination for our Organization. In order to insure that the Organization will not fall again, you must activate Braxyd's programming immediately. You can do so in 'The Room', which is the room down the hall from the room in which you found my diary. His programming should automatically activate if Maxsodin openly threatens the existence of the Organization, but that would be cutting it too close. I hope you succeed in your task, for the fate of the Organization, and the destruction of Kingdom Hearts.
Xemnas
Oh crap....
Maxsodin jumped off her bed and quickly read through the memo again.
OH CRAP!
In very little time, Maxsodin would have to face Sora.
He was her BROTHER, whether she knew it or not.
He might be the only one to accept who she truly was, what a monster she had always been.
Would she dare fight against him?
Could she?
But worse yet, did she have a choice?
She was safe. For now at least. Her slip-up was forgotten.

Memo. (Left in each Member's Room.)
Train fast and hard. The date of Sora's demise is approaching swiftly. One week from tomorrow we attack. Build endurance. We will attack united, friends bonded together with one goal in mind.

Forgotten Entries
Maxsodin was cleaning her room. She might as well get all her stuff together, or at least organized. While shuffling some sketches and drawings together, she noticed one of them was stuck under a stone block in the wall. Sighing, she walked over to retrieve it.
She pulled, but the paper didn't come loose. She placed a hand on the block for leverage and pull again. The paper didn't move, but the block did.
Maxsodin lost her balance as it moved, but he was too shocked to catch herself. She fell onto the floor and stared at the block. It had just move. She pushed it again, more directly than before. It slide easily farther back. The sound of an airlock was heard along with the sound of stone being pulled slowly over the floor. She looked over. A secret door had just opened in her room.
Curiosity trumped all fear as Maxsodin went inside. It was dark, but some groping around found a light switch. She flicked it up.
A single light bulb hung from the ceiling. It hummed and buzzed quietly. The room was small, no bigger than an office cuticle. In it was a single table, and on it a single leather-bound book. At the table was a plain wooden chair.
Maxsodin walked into the room and sat at the table. The wood was smooth and dust-covered. She picked up the single book, and blew of the thick layer of dust on it's cover. When she brushed the rest off, a title could be seen, engraved in the leather:
Diary of Xemnes, Head of Organization XIII
Maxsodin gingerly flipped it open. In neat script, Xemnes had scrawled all his personal thoughts and plans into this one book. This was the single pathway into Xemnes's head. It was a mind boggling thought.
Maxsodin flipped slowly through the pages, barely bothering to skim the entries. She was looking for one thing: the last entires Xemnes wrote. She found them as the diary flipped a chuck of pages at once, opening to the last writings of Xemnes. Maxsodin read them to herself:
It has been a long and hard day. It is in these days that I realize my fate, the fate of the Organization. Too many of us are already defeated. We are destine to be destroyed. As much as I want to deny this, I know deep down it is true. That is why I have formed a plan. Organization XIII might fall, but I can prepare a new generation who won't.
Dear Diary,
I have sent my plan into action. The outcome was a success. Four young children have been taken and brought into the world of Darkness. They are currently undergoing the process of becoming Nobodies. They hold the fate of the Organization and the doom of Kingdom Hearts in their tiny little hands.
Xigbar brought the children to me this morning. They are three girls and one boy. I was quite proud of them. Their former names were Anne, Sasha, Madison, and Brady. That will soon change. But one of them, Madison I believe, there is something about her, something in her eyes. When I saw her I felt the Organization's doom hit me like a thunderbolt. Like that miserable member Roxas, I feel that Madison is the weak link. And like Roxas, she must have a 'Xion' to destroy her if it comes to such a time. I choose young Brady for this heavy task.
I began Vexan in Braxyd's (for that is Brady's new name) altering today. If the time comes when Maxsodin (the new name of Madison) openly threatens the existence of the Organization, Braxyd's programming will kick in and he will have no choice but to destroy her.
Lexaeus was destroyed today. We must be fast.
It is official. Tonight Xigbar and I will take the children to their new guardians. Very few villains volunteered for the task, but we found enough for each little member to have their own guardian. Xigbar is taking Nexan and Xahssa (formerly Anne and Sasha) to Jafar and Cruella. I am to take Braxyd and Maxsodin to Captain Hook and Barbosa. I hope they will be safe until they are old enough to join forces.
Xigbar was destroyed today. I am the only one left.
Maxsodin stared in shock at the last page where Xemnes's last ten words stained the page. Maxsodin knew the truth now. She no longer could trust even Braxyd. Whether he wanted to or not, Braxyd would kill her in the blink of an eye. Maxsodin was on her own

Confuzzlement
For the sixth time, Maxsodin checked her door. The nob rattled. Still locked.
And for the sixth time Maxsodin began pacing her room, corner to corner to corner to corner.
And for the sixth time Maxsodin flopped onto her bed and stared at the ceiling.
And for the sixth time she struggled to find a reason for what had just happened.
And for the sixth time, she failed to do so, and started all over again.
Pacing to the third corner, Maxsodin heard footsteps in the hallway. The plan she had formed was immediately forgotten as she lost all nerve. The ordeal had drained a lot out of her.
Rushing the to corner, she huddled there and silently drew a cloak of darkness over top of herself.
The footsteps stopped. The door nob rattled. A muffled curse was heard then the door broke down and the flames licked hungrily at the wood.
"Maxy?" cried a voice. It was Braxyd.
"Brax?" Maxsodin asked quietly.
"Maxy where are you?!" the voice was hoarse as Braxyd tried to whisper and call out at the same time.
Removing her cloak and using the darkness to fix the door, Maxsodin ran over to Braxyd and hugged him, tears pouring down her face.
"What happened, Max?" He asked as he stood, awkwardly allowing her to embrace him.
"Oh Brax, I don't know!" Maxsodin was sobbing now, hardly able to control her quaking voice. "I have no idea what happened! I can't even remember how I ended up in the dreadful place!"
"What place? Did Nexan and them put you there!?" Braxyd was trying really hard not to let his hand ignite with anger.
"No no! They took me out of the horrid place! Oh Brax! How did this happen!?"
"I don't know..." he said quietly, mystified at the sudden turn of events. "All I remember is you fainting clear away in the training room after I asked you if something a dream or if it was real. Then Xahssa made me go to my room and all I could do was worry!"
Suddenly Braxy jumped away from Maxsodin in alarm. "Wait a minute, how can you cry!? Nobodies can't cry!"
Maxsodin scrubbed at her eyes and sniffed disdainfully. "Huh! I'n no regular Nobody! Can a regular Nobody be possessed by the Darkness and meet with Xemnes in her dreams and have the power to destroy Kingdom Hearts on her own!?"
Braxyd stood staring at Maxsodin, shocked. Maxsodin realized what she had just revealed to Braxyd, but there was no turning back.
"Maxy..."
"What!? Go on, tell Nexan and them! See if I care! I'm gonna get kicked out for what just happened anyway, so why don't you speed it up for me!!!"
Braxyd shook his head resolutely. "No Maxy. I would never tell them your secrets."
Maxsodin's eyes, that had been clouded with rage, now cleared and stared at Braxyd.
"You...wouldn't?"
"And won't."
They stared at one another for a moment longer.
Maxsodin cocked her head inquiringly. "And what about your secrets? Do you trust me to keep them?"
Braxyd hesitated a minute. "Of course Max, but... I just don't think you're ready to handle some of them.
Braxyd turned to leave.
"Wait!" Maxsodin called. Braxyd turned. "Can you at least tell me the one I CAN handle? I mean, now that you know all mine?"
"ALL?" Braxyd said coldly. Maxsodin stiffened. He was right. He didn't know all her secrets. Even SHE didn't know all her secrets. Maxsodin hung her head, defeated.
Braxyd sighed. "Fine, I'll tell you this much, Maxy: I'm no ordinary Nobody either."
And on that note, Braxyd left the room.

And on that note, Braxyd left the room.
Inside the Head of a Blacked-Out Maxy
Everything was dark and swirling, like black water. It was cool too, a refreshing cool.
Maxsodin felt suspended in mid-air. Like she was in the water, or free-falling or something. Her head was absolutely free of worry or thought. In fact, she couldn't recall how she got here in the first place.
Then, out of the darkness, a voice began to whisper. Soft and soothing. Maxsodin floated around to hear the sound better. It was just like the whispering of her keyblade.
But then it began to grow in volume. Even though she tried, Maxsodin couldn't make out the words, no matter how loud. It was like a different language.
The volume grew and grew until the voice throbbed in Maxsodin's head. She drew her nails down her skull, trying feverishly to rid the voice from her head.
And still the volume grew.
Maxsodin no longer felt like she was floating. More like falling closer and closer to hell. Her body became hot and uncomfortable. The darkness around her too. He head throbbed. Her body ached with heat.
And just when she felt she could take it no longer, she plunged into a vat of water.
Snapping her eyes open, Maxsodin instinctively curled into ball. Breathing heavily, gulping in the breathable air around her, Maxsodin barely noted Nexan and Seycax and Xahssa standing around her.
"One last time, Xahssa." Nexan's voice sounded far away.
SPLASH!
Maxsodin gasped as the freezing water slammed into her face. Regaining a grasp on contiousness, she sat bolt upright.
"What happened!?" Maxsodin demaned, her voice shaking from the ordeal.
"Nothing." Nexan snapped, and walked out of the room.
Seycax glanced at Maxsodin with something like pity in her eyes, then followed Nexan out of the room.
"Xahssa?" Maxsodin pleaded quitely.
Xahssa turned away. "Come on. Let's get you back to your room."

two turns for the worst
it was dark and cold, but braxyd could still see the world around him. "MAXsODIN! if this is one of your pranks i swear i will light you on fire."
he could make oput the soft weap of a fimiliar friend. "maxy" he said softly
the only thing he could hear from her was a soft, "help me braxyd"
Braxyd woke with a start, as nexan's head apeared out a portal screaming, "GET UP YOU LAZY BUM YOU HAVE TO TRAIN!!!!!!"
"oh fine you jerk but get out of my room. you know i wear just boxers when i sleep. I doubt you want me getting up in just my boxers."
Nexan turned her head in disgust, "you pervert just get to the training room in five minutes. Oh by the way you are partnered up with maxsodin."
he got to the training room and saw max huruling her keyblade at the wall as usual. now braxyd didnt even have to say anything to know she wanted to get to work right away. they started out sparring a calm tempo when braxyd said,"was it a dream or was it real"
"what?" maxsodin said saracastically.
All he had to say in response was, "help me maxy" and that is when it got a little more interesting. maxsodin just dropped her keyblade right there in the middle of sparring. "maxy whats wrong?" nothing. then she just fell right into braxyds arms which had grown quite srtong aqnd fst with all of the training.
"NEXAN GET OVER HERE MAXY BLACKED OUT AGAIN!" nexan ran over along with a hooded number 5, seycax, and xahssa, giving them all orders and jobs so that we would not lose number three.
"xahssa get braxyd out of here he does not need to be around maxsodin when she is like this"
"yes superior. come on B lets go. braxyd are you crying. nobodies cant cry. braxyd get your ass into your room of i will turn you into steam! GO!"

Another Dream
Maxsodin was walking in the darkness of her dream. Out of nowhere a bench appeared. Shrugging, Maxsodin sat down upon it.
"Now you know the full extent of your problems."
Maxsodin turned and stared up at Xemnes who sat on the bench next to her.
He stared back with unfathomable eyes. "What are you going to do about it?"
Maxsdoin sighed. She folded her hands together and squished them between her legs, hunched in a defeated pose, staring at her feet. "What AM I to do? I'm gonna slip up. I know I am. It's just a matter of in front of who and how soon."
It was Xemnes's turn to shrug. "I cannot predict the future, my dear child. But I can raise your spirits."
There was a swish, like a sudden spurt of wind. Maxsodin looked up from the ground and saw the mulleted figure.
She smiled weakly. "Demyx."
He smiled back. "You've got some real big problems on your hands."
He sat on the other side of Maxsodin, where the bench seemed to have gotten longer.
"Yeah," Maxsodin looked hopefully into his sea colored eyes. "But things will get better eventually."
Demyx frowned at this statement, as if he knew better. Maxsodin was about to ask if he did when another swish sounded.
"Turn that frown upside-down! We haven't brought you here to sulk!"
Axel sat down next to Demyx, on the ever growing bench.
"Hey Axel." Maxsodin said sheepishly, attempting a smile. He gave a roguish grin and winked back.
Another swish.
"Well, if your QUITE done flirting Axel...!" Siax sat next to Xemnes; how long could the bench get?
"Evening Siax..." Maxsodin said nervously.
Saix turned to look at her frostily. "Is this the girl with problems?" he asked Xemnes as he stared at Maxsodin.
"Yes Siax. She hold a great deal of power. Enough to rid the world of Kingdom Hearts. We need to help keep HER from being destroyed before she can destroy Kingdom Hearts."
Siax seemed less hostile then.
"But what can you all do?" Maxsodin asked, puzzled, as she glanced left and right to the four faces.
"Train you."
"Toughen you up!"
"Council you."
"Cheer you up!"
Maxsodin blinked in surprise. "You'd do that? For me?"
"Not for you!" growled Siax. "For the sake of the Organization, and to destroy Kingdom Hearts!"
Demyx leaned over and whispered quickly into Maxsodin's ear. "I'm doing this for you."
"Thanks." Maxsodin murmured back.
The four former Organization member rose from the bench and stood before Maxsodin.
"Morning?" she asked with a sigh.
Xemnes nodded. "We'll start your training tonight!"
The four faded. So did the now two person bench. Everything faded.
Maxsodin allowed her eyes to flicker open, trying to grasp the last wisps of her dream. Sighing, she sat up in her bed and stretched. It was REALLY early. No one would be awake for hours. Maxsodin needed some time alone.
"Barbosa..." she said to herself as a fiendish plan formed in her mind.
She could use a pep talk from the pirate. Not to mention a little mischief while she was out.

In which Maxsodin is delivered burnt toast
It was a light tap at the door that caused Maxsodin to jump at the intrusion.
"Maxsodin? Get off your bed and open up the door you lazy Nobody or I'll blast this thing open." Xahssa's voice was light and teasing but the threat was definitely there. Maxsodin stood from her bed and walked over to her door, nervous yet excited. This was the first time in a while Xahssa had sought her out instead of the other way around.
When Maxsodin opened the door she was greated with a smiling Xahssa and a plate of two pieces of burnt toast. Maxsodin's nose wrinkled at the smell of burnt toast.
"Please ignore the burnt part. Braxyd attempted to fix the toaster this morning and he ended up ruining the toast. Nexan's planning on getting a professional to fix it since none of us can do it ourselves." Xahssa said brushing past Maxsodin and shoving the plate in her hands.
She sat down carefully on a chair to Maxsodin's desk, clearing the place of discarded pieces of designs and plans. While she was distracted, Maxsodin emptied the plate's contents into her trash can.
"So... Thanks for the breakfast." She muttered awkwardly with nothing else to say. Her friend smiled and said breezily, "You're welcome."
Then her smile dropped.
"I'm sorry that I got interrupted last time." Xahssa said very seriously. "It won't happen this time, I assure you."
Maxsodin only nodded, wanting her to continue. And she did.
"Well to get on with things, Nexan and I were discussing Organization matters a few weeks back and she expressed to me some of her concerns regarding our powers. She believes that... Well... The Darkness has made you unstable. She nervous because if you can't control the darkness you have power over, it may consume you or it may turn you into a new Nobody that's never been seen before.
A Nobody that we can't contain and will have the potential to destoy Kingdom Hearts. While that's our goal, it will most likely destroy you and us in the process. And we can't afford that. She may... "dismiss" you at some point or another if there's proof that you can't handle your powers."
Xahssa gave her a knowing look and Maxsodin felt a chill run down her spine. Perhaps she wasn't the only one who saw what happened with the toaster.
"You need to be careful, Maxsodin. If you mess up in front of Braxyd, Seycax, or, God forbid, Nexan, you're screwed. One more slip up and you'll be saying goodbye to the rest of us. I can't afford that. You're our best chance at getting Sora and you're my friend."
A smile crossed Xahssa's lips briefly before she stood and threw her arms around Maxsodin rather suddenly. Maxsodin flinched back at first, but accepted the hug. This was rare and she might as well be thankful she's getting one now.
Xahssa let go of her and strode over to the door. Before she left she turned and spoke.
"Remember Maxsodin. Nexan's watching you for any slip up. She wouldn't like to kick you out, but she'd have no choice. Be very, very careful."
And with that she slipped out the door. Maxsodin watched the door fall shut. Oh God. She was definitely screwed.

In Which Things are Not Well
"Maxsodin?" Nexan peaked her head through the doorway.
Maxsodin, who was sitting by the window of her room, jumped as the voice broke the silence. You would have thought someone shattered glass she was startled so much.
"You okay?" Nexan entered the dark room and sat on the windowsill next to Maxsodin.
"Y-yeah, yeah. Fine. Just fine." Maxsodin shuddered and refused to make eye contact.
She was anything BUT fine. Nexan began to worry; at least, more than she had been about the unstable member.
"You sure?" Perhaps Xahssa could get to her.
"Yeah," she said quietly, almost ashamedly; still refusing to look at Nexan. "Just a bad dream is all..."
"Well, okay then..." Nexan stared at her. "Just remember to get breakfast okay? And try not to break the toaster."
Nexan saw no signs that her joke had been taken. In fact, Maxsodin seemed to tense more at the mention of the toaster.
Letting out a shuddering sigh, Nexan allowed herself to teleport into the kitchen.
She arrived upside-down, staring about at the other three members who merely glanced her way. They were used to seeing her upside-down quite a lot now that she had mastered the skill.
Pouring herself some coffee, Nexan sat at the round table, next to Xahssa and Seycax, across from Braxyd. They ate and drank in silence for awhile, until Braxyd spoke up.
"Where's Maxsodin this morning? Still asleep?" This brought chuckles from the other two, who knew of her habit to sleep in late.
Nexan shook her head wearily. "Afraid not. She had a bad dream or something. Must have really scared her, 'cause she won't leave her room or even look at me."
Braxyd glanced at Nexan with some sort of guilt; most likely from his grudge as of late about some so called 'favoritism' Nexan had with Maxsodin. Xahssa looked up and matched the worried look on Nexan's own face. Seycax seemed to think the whole thing normal and tuned out of the conversation.
"Maybe I should bring her breakfast..." Xahssa offered, wringing the hem of robe sleeves with worry.
Nexan knew she wanted to talk with Maxsodin. "Go ahead and do that. Perhaps you could try and... talk it out while you're there?"
Xahssa smiled gratefully and began to clear her dishes.
Nexan just hoped she would have more luck than herself. Maxsodin's mysteries were becoming more frequent and less known to the others.

Maxsodin was somewhere dark, but she could see perfectly. A figure materialized out of the darkness. Se squinted and made out who it was. She rubbed her eyes in disbelief. It was Xemnas!
I must be dreaming... she thought to herself.
"Hello Maxsodin, Number III, the Unstable Dark."
She shook her head, chuckling quietly. "And my greetings to you, Xemnes, Number I, the Superior, former head of Organization XIII."
"It is not just I that is here, my child. The whole of Organization XIII dwell here, where we cannot escape nor make contact with the outside world. In fact, only you we have been able to even communicate with, through your dreams or not. For some reason, we cannot reach the others in your Organization."
A dream, maybe, but real none the less...
Xemnes placed his fist under his chin in a thoughtful position. "Perhaps we can contact you because of your... unique... connection with the Darkness itself."
"Perhaps..." Maxsodin thought it sounded logical. It was just another odd power she was granted. Nothing out of the ordinary as of late.
"Anyway, anyway," said Xemnes, waving his hand as if shooing away off-topic thoughts. "I haven't come to you to talk about how this is possible; I have important information for you!"
Maxsodin really didn't know how to respond this time.
Xemnes didn't seem to notice. A paper appeared in his hand and he cleared his throat. "Yes, ahem, hem! Well, when you, Maxsodin, control and or summon Darkness in any shape or form, there is a connection, a pathway of sorts, opened up between you and the Darkness. When said pathway is opened, the Darkness has a choice to attempt to turn the tables; to control you instead of you controlling it. When this happens you must be in full strength and health in order to fight it off. If not, the Darkness can and will take over your being."
"Wh-what do you mean?" This did NOT sound good.
Xemnes looked up from his paper at Maxsodin. "It means that if you are not capable to fight off the Darkness, it will invade your being. In other words, you will not be controlling yourself. You will have no power over what the Darkness wished to do with you, your powers, or your knowledge."
"So, should I just NOT use my powers at all?" Maxsodin was both confused and slightly deflated.
Xemnes chuckled a dry chuckle that lacked any mirth. "No no, dear child! You just must be careful when you DO use your powers. And, of course, who you use it around."
Maxsodin stared blankly at Xemnes.
He sighed. "Look, Maxsodin, your Organization's goal is to defeat Sora and destroy Kingdom Hearts, right?"
"Right..."
"And I'm sure Nexan, your Superior, would take advantage of anything to acheive these goals quicker and easier...?"
"Of course!"
"Then I'm sure if she knew about the awful strength you gained when controlled by the Darkness-"
"That she'd want to find a way to activate it at her will!" This was getting worse and worse!
Xemnes nodded and began to fade. "The dawn nears, dearest Maxsodin. It is time we depart."
"Wait! I need your help!" Maxsodin cried, desperately trying to reach the fading figure.
"Don't worry," the voice seemed to echo in the darkness around Maxsodin as Xemnes disappeared. "We are always watching you and your friends. We will meet again soon."
Maxsodin snapped her eyes open. She was in her room. It was all a dream.
But unlike dreams, every detail was and stayed fresh in Maxsodin's mind. Dream or not, it was all real. She could no longer be truly safe in the Organization.
But where else could she possibly go?
She had to stay.
For better...
But more likely for worse.
I must be dreaming... she thought to herself.

Extract from the Diary of Maxsodin, III
It was Thanksgiving today.
Nexan threw together a little Thanksgiving dinner for us. VI wasn't there, which made it all the better.
You know, laughter is a real spirit lifter. Not just a little chuckle at some witty comment, but really cracking up. I think we all felt better after sharing stories, telling jokes, and eating food galore.
Who says that Thanksgiving is all about the food? For us, it was a real lifesaver. Both mentally and spiritually.
Our loyalty has been restored. With the power of friendship and humor, we can come out victorious!
Question is, how long will those two tings last?

How Much is Too Much?
I donno, no symptoms or nothin. So far so good. No more incidents like the one with the toaster. But I've been feeling less and less in control lately. As if the Darkness is becoming rebellious to my control of it. I'm become quite hesitant to use it.
The last thing I want is for some one to WITNESS what happened with the toaster.
I'm not sure what might happen to them, or worse, what might happen to me if they found out...

In which Nexan is puzzled
Nexan leaned against the wall of the training room, viewing the sparring going on between her Organization. Maxsodin and Xahssa were facing off towards the top right of the room, with Braxyd teaching Seycax how to handle a variety of weapons.
"Wait a minute. Throw with your dominant hand otherwise your aim is going to be off." Seycax let Braxyd take hold of the spear she was supposed to be holding and demonstrate what he meant. He whipped the spear a good twenty yards into a crudely drawn picture of Sora dotted with spear holes.
"Xahssa! This was my last clean coat! Now I'm going to have to do laundry again!" Maxsodin whined from across the room. Nexan glanced over and saw her soaked, the water running off of her leather coat.
"Technically I just cleaned your coat." Xahssa pointed out, dodging the blast of darkness aimed for her head.
"It's supposed to be machine washed only!" Maxsodin said dispairingly, dropping her Keyblade to wipe off the excess of water.
"Aw, I'm sorry." The water flew off of the leather coat into Xahssa's hand where it disappeared with a slight puff of smoke.
Nexan detachted herself from the wall and headed out the door. Once in the hallway, she allowed her expression turn from a pleased Superior to a confused Nobody. Everything was befuddling. Braxyd didn't like Seycax. At all. So why on earth did he help her?
There was a chance that Xahssa blackmailed him into it so she wouldn't do it herself, but she would've heard about that. After all, last week when they were training, he nearly set her coat on fire. If there was blackmail involved, he probably would've set her entire being on fire.
Another thing, was that Maxsodin and her were training. Xahssa had avoided her for several days. Why willingly train with her?
Despite being the Superior, she felt that she wouldn't know the answers for a long time.

Meeting
"What are we here for again?" Maxsodin asked impatiently. She wanted to get back to her room, it was a strange time for such an abrupt meeting. She looked around and saw that Braxyd wasn't paying attention to her. He was showing Xassha how he could light his fingertips on fire. Maxsodin thought he looked as if he had painted his nails bright red, but didn't say anything.
"Really, guys, what is this about?" Maxsodin asked, louder this time, when suddenly two figures walked into the room. Nexan. Maxsodin had no idea about the other, until she removed her hood. VI.
"Everyone, listen up. V will not be with us today. She has fallen ill, a side effect from turning into a Nobody. I'm sure you've all met Seycax," Nexan gestured to the girl standing next to her.
"She is number VI, the latest addition to our Organization. Now, I'd like to discuss training. I assume it's going well for all of you?" She scanned their faces as everyone sat down in their appointed places. Seycax spoke up, "I haven't much training, I don't have a weapon."
"That will be taken care of shortly. We'll work out a design to fit your needs. The rest of you?"
"I've been practicing everyday. I don't know how good I am though. I think I need more person-to-person training," Maxsodin wished she could show Nexan how far she could throw her Keyblade. And with such precision.
"Xassha, Seycax and I will help you out. We all have valuable skill you need to be able to hold your own against. I've seen you practicing with Braxyd, so that is no problem. " Braxyd looked sheepish at this, finally extinguishing the miniature fires from his hands.
"Okay..." Maxsodin was slightly taken aback. She hadn't expected to get so much help.
"Which reminds me, we all need to start training with parters, to better judge how an enemy will act in combat. Sparring only, no wounds, please. Take turns with each other, no hogging each other. No matter how madly n love you are with them. We will need all the training we can get before we take down Sora. This will clear the path for our true goal -- Defeat Kingdom Hearts. You are dismissed."

Crap.
Crap crap crap.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH, CRAP!
If only Xahssa's face didn't speak louder than her words. And again CRAP!
I've been meaning to get back to her ever since she wanted to talk to me in the Training Room.
Seycax and her stupid observing-ness!
Anyway, lost Xahssa. Can't find her. Got to replace toaster. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the Organization with problems!
What DOES Nexan not want me to know?
... Not sure I really want to answer that.

In which Seycax interrupts a warning
"Maxsodin, can I talk to you for a moment?" Xahssa's voice came from right behind Maxsodin, where she was prepared to sink her Keyblade into the wall. She sighed, but turned around with a bright and cheery smile.
"What?" Number II's face was blank, but her eyes were troubled.
"There's something you should know, but Nexan must not know of this, are we clear? She told me not to tell you, but this is important and you deserve to know." Maxsodin's eyes widened, as Xahssa was using her "I'm Number II, so shut up and listen" voice, something quite rare when directed towards her.
"What's going on?" Xahssa flinched, and whirled around to face Seycax, a smile replacing her frown.
"Oh, nothing. Just talking to Maxsodin about another broken toaster. Nothing of importance." In other words, Get lost or I'll drown you in the Organization's bathtub.
Seycax didn't take the hint.
"You're both training? Can I watch?" Oh, to be new to the Organization and knowing nothing, Maxsodin thought wistfully. Xahssa gave a tight smile.
"I was just about to leave. I'll send Brayxd in so he can help you." Before she hurried off, she shot Maxsodin a look. Maxsodin watched Number II walk quickly out of the room, a shiver running down her spine. The look said one thing.
Watch your back
From the Diary of Xahssa, II
SO happy that Nexan cleared things up about Number VI. I AM NO LONGER BELOW ANYONE BUT NUMBER I (and, let's face it, everyone's below the Superior)! I love my placement in the Organization. None of the pressures of the Superior, yet still in control of the others.
Speaking of the others, I'm pissed at Maxsodin. I have that freaking peanut butter stash for a reason! If there's no peanut butter in CO, then that means less of a chance that Nexan will make me a peanut butter sandwich. But because of the totally planned shortage of chocolate, Maxsodin found where I hid the forbidden substance and she's been pretty much living off of it. Actually, this may be of a benefit. Maybe she'll clear the stuff out and there won't be a chance of that poison food ending up in my sandwich!
II
P.S. THAT DAMN TOASTER IS BROKEN AGAIN. HOW THE HELL DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!
Thinking
I've just been thinking what old Organization member we four are like...
I'd say Braxyd is without a doubt Axel. Not just 'cause he's The Scheming Flame, but 'cause he's a prankster and that he'd do anything for a 'greater good', for the Org. or something else. I'd never tells anyone this. No, I support Braxyd. It pays off to have thinking that isn't as bais as Organization thinking is. Never, and I mean NEVER, will I blame Braxyd for anything that happens to me in the Org. And in the same sense I'd never tell anyone about where is loyality lies, you know, with the whole 'greater good'.
Hmmm... Xahssa is a lot like Luxord. You know, a nice person, who has those bad moody days, but all in all powerful with a sense of humor. I'd never describe her as mean, but loving and kind aren't really her style either. She makes choices about people, about which side of herself they will know. I know her humorous, friendly side. Others are less fortunate to know her dark, stormy side.
Nexan is a hard one. A Xigbar in a sense. She likes to kid around and 'connect' with us 'lowers'. And still she can call upon her seriousness when needed. But like any other Org. member, I don't share secrets with her. Superiors don't understand fully what goes through the mind of a 'lower' during the day hours.
Me? I'm told constantly that I'm Demyx. I'll accept that. I'm the butt end of every joke or someone's anger. Don't care either. I'd rather chill out and fight when needed, but little else. I don't know, lately I haven't been feeling to Demyxy. Just kind darkish, too Xolden-ish. CURSES!

Went and saw Barbosa today. He's a great guy, really. Good with advise. I can tell him anything. And his advise it short, sweet, and to the sword point, if you catch my drift.
He gave me some real good advise about my sudden 'changes' I've been having. He said to fight it out. With some imaginary person. Like, I'm supposed to imagine that SOMEONE is what's causing my 'changes', and that I'm supposed to fight this SOMEONE, just, like, pretend they're there and swing at them. I donno, it doesn't sound crazy. It might actually work.
I hope Nexan doesn't find out about my visits with Barbosa. We're supposed to be all hidden and unknown and all, but, to be honest, I need to branch out from the four (five counting Seycax, who's usually never around) of us.
Heck, I can't see nothin wrong with visiting Barbosa. It's not like he's a sappy good guy. Naw, he's a casual villain. My type of guy.
Still, if Nexan finds out I'm toast. More like a dusk. Damn it, I hate keeping secrets! And having to swear...

too much
i just found a secret room leading out of my own. many know it as "the room". no one knew what it was used for but now i do. there was a fourteenth member of the organization. her name was xion. she was created out of a program designed by vexen and get this in this program there was a fail safe if "it" as saix called her, got out of control the organization could destroy her and any memory of her. xemnas told vexen to keep a log of the progress so that is where i got this information. i swear to all beings of the light, dark, and nothing that if our organization is a repeat of the old, i will help destroy it just as Axel did. just telling you this is a big if. I love this organization. it is the closest thing i have ever had to a family.

Woah!
Feel so much better today. Been feeling kinda weird lately, but I woke up this morning and felt fine.
Glad that's over. I hate feeling that way. All dark and brooding and depressed and isolated.
My throwing arm has improved. I can sling Wraith-Shadow with my eyes closed and stick her in the same dent I threw her before.
Again, glad I'm feeling better. I'm gonna hang out with Xahssa and Nexan and Braxyd now. I could use they're company.

From the Diary of Nexan, ii
So it seems a rumor has been circulating about Seycax. Apparently, I appointed her second in command. Damn you, Braxyd. I know it was you that started this. Maxsodin is too naive for that and Xahssa would never. Looks like I'll have to 'relocate' your stash of chocolate.
Everyone's training has been going well. Most everyone has decided on a weapon. They just need to name and train with them. I decided on a scythe, basing it on the symbol of the Nobody. It looks wicked.
I need to assign titles for everyone. Mine shall not be Superior, I find it too powerful. So far, I have:
Nexan- The Chameleon
Xassha- The Stormy Waters
Maxsodin- The Unstable Dark
Braxyd- The Scheming Flame
None of this is set in stone, not quite yet.
Also, We do have two new members, but both of their memberships are in limbo. We have had problems naming them and assigning weapons and powers. Mansex made it look so easy.
Au Revior,

"Let's get you aquainted with the other memebers." Nexan said cheerily to Seycax.
The two of them walked down the halways of Castle Oblivion. The tunred into the kitchen, where Xahssa was cursing at the toaster.
"Xahssa..." Nexan cleared her throat.
Xahssa spun around, and imediatly the frustration on her face was replaced with cheerfulness. "Hello Number Six!" she said.
"Hi! You Must be Number Two."
"Indeed."
"Allow me to help you there Xahssa." Nexan said, walking up to the toaster. It was only a few seconds before it was fixed.
"How'd you do it?" Xahssa asked wide-eyed.
"I'll never tell." Nexan laughed. "Come on Seycax, let's meet Maxsodin."
"She said she was going to the training room." Xahssa called to them as they left the kitchen.
Nexan and Seycax approached the Training Room. As Nexan slowly opened the door and peered inside, a blade came whizzing through the air and stuck with a THUD in the wall beside her head. It then immediately vaporized and another blade followed into the wall after it, than vaporized.
"Maxsodin?"
THUD!
"Yeah?"
The blade vaporized and appeared in Maxsodin's hand.
"This is Seycax," Nexan said as she and Seycax entered the room. "Number Six."
"Uh-huh." Maxsodin said, uninterested. She threw her blade Wraith-Shadow again and watched it disappear and reenter her hand.
"Is she always this moody?" Seycax whispered into Nexan's ear.
"No," Nexan whispered back. "You see, Maxsodin's power is Darkness, a power never seen before in the Organization's history. She can control the darkness in which we dwell. But that's just it. Lately we've been fearing that aside from controlling the Darkness, we fear that the Darkness can also manipulate her as well. We fear that, if not handled correctly, Maxsodin's power could consume her. She could become a threat to us."
THUD!
"And worse yet, she can wield a Keyblade."
Seycax's eyes grew wide.
Nexan nodded. "We aren't sure how, but I'm almost certain she must be the Nobody of a Keyblade wielder. Just like Roxas could wield a Keyblade because his Somebody was Sora."
"Alright well, this is Number Six, Maxsodin. Do you know where we can find Braxyd?"
THUD! "He's in his room. Best where something fireproof."
As Nexan and Seycax walked to Braxyd's room, Nexan felt a heaviness inside her. A day may come when she would have to banish Maxsodin for the good of the Organization. Nexan shuddered. She NEVER wanted that day to come.

Been doing a lot of thinking lately. About Organization life.
I'm reminded of the story of Roxas every time I sit alone in Castle Oblivion and think.
The member with the Keyblade, who brought about Organization XIII's downfall.
It makes me shudder.
When Nexan isn't around, I oftentimes turn my weapon Wraith-Shadow back into it's Keyblade form. I can do that you know. I control Darkness. I just sit and stare at it. It seems to whisper. I'm content to concentrate of the voice, to make out it's words. I cannot, and yet I still listen.
I was trying to use that confounded toaster earlier. I don't know how, but something in me snapped. I can't recall what happened, just this surge of blind fury and everything after that is a blur. As I try and recall it, I can only manage to place my finger on this feeling of peace while it happened.
Not sure I want to say what actually HAPPENED to the toaster.
All this sudden strange powers are confusing me. I'd rather go now to meditate on it. Perhaps I shall listen once again to the whispering of my Keyblade. It IS quite soothing...

WHAT THE HECK
Toaster is not working, and I NEED my toast.
Seriously. The toaster is not working. What did you do Maxsodin?!
Seriously. The toaster is not working. What did you do Maxsodin?!
From the Diary of Xahssa, I
I finally got onto this infernal thing. Maxsodin showed me this one blog she created earlier. I was surprised. Maxsodin, who barely knows how to operate the Organization's toaster, managed to set up a website without setting herself on fire. I'm proud of her.
And (as I'm last to find out), we have a new member. VI. I like her. She's nice, and rather funny. However, in terms of superiority, I'm furious that Nexan has the nerve to say that she's the second in command. Um, hello? Number II, here. It's infuriating. Superior better clear things, because VI is questioning my rather unquestionable placement in the organization.
But aside from that, I don't really care much about VI. So long as she avoids me when I'm in one of my... Moods, we'll get along just fine. Braxyd should remember that he's to avoid me and my room, but of course, he has to go and pull the pickle stunt. I knew about that even before he did it, because Maxsodin is such a lovely friend. He should find something more creative to do if he's going to harass me. I'd respect him so much more if he left me alone and we only discussed Organization buisness.
Something is still lingering in the back of my mind, about a conversation he and I had earlier concerning the Organization. A Keyblade? In the hands of Maxsodin? It would be rather dangerous to have one in her hands. Sure, she isn't the brightest member, but she's probably more dangerous. She's... unstable, almost. Cheerful on the outside, but brooding and dark on the inside. It doesn't so much scare me as it does intrigue me. Why her, of all people?

Still Mad
I'm still mad. Hidden myself in a fog of Darkness. Not gonna talk to no Superior. Gonna be a rebel.
Yeah so im in my Darkness. The silence in here is peaceful. And yet it only helps to heighten my anger. I love you Darkness.
Thinking of better things. Not gonna think about you-know-who and all. In fact, I thought of a good name for Braxyd's Pike: Inferno.
I'll run it by him when he isn't sitting in a bonfire.
Hating Number VI, hating Number VI, hating Number VI, hating Number VI, hating Number VI, hating Number VI, hating Number VI!

Steamed
i am so angry all the others have to say is that number six is more skilled. Ugh im so steamed. if any one needs me i will be in CO
Unfair...
Got a new member today. Number VI. Apparently, Number V has already been named, just isn't in the castle yet is all.
Well anyway, her name is Seycax. Donno her power. Donno much about any of her. All I know is she was immediately classified as a "Superior" when she arrived.
I don't hold many grudges, but this is something I just WILL NOT let go of. Me n Braxyd have been in the Organization longer, MUCH LONGER, than Seycax and we shouldn't have ta take orders from her.
Great. We got three Superiors, and only two in the ranks. I'm NOT too happy.
I saw Braxyd giving Seycax some dirty looks. AND catching some things on fire. AND hurling his pike everywhere. AND cursing his head off. Perhaps not now, but soon I'll ask for his help with this.
Surely Nexan will see the sense in our complaints.

New Recruits?
Can't verify the truth behind this, but Nexan seemed to be dropping hints lately about getting some 'New Recruits"
What, will we have to change our name, too?!
Anyway, I'm supposed to be recruiting them. ME. I think I found a few. Two actually. They seem decent. Not sure if they know the seriousness of the Org. though.
Anyway, I ought to be going now. Tomorrow will bring new opportunities to post. But now I must rest.

I overheard Braxyd and Xahssa talking about a minute ago. (which is a rare thing for them!)
Kept hearing my name, so I decided to eavesdrop.
It was hard to hear it all, but this is what I heard:
"...how can she?"
"well a Keyblade... Somebody can."
"Somebody has... Sora!"
"No there are others."
"What you mean like....???"
"Well, yeah but..."
"...can't have... in the Organization!!!"
"Xahssa you...!"
"I don't know, what if...?"
"I guess we'll find out."
Weird, huh? Well, I can piece together what that might mean. Don't like it though. In fact, I don't even wanna think about it. I don't feel like writing anymore. Gonna go and have some time to sleep.

Hmm... its strange how one can go from brooding to eager in a matter of moments.
Yup, I did that.
Okay so I was having my own little pity-party when Nexan rejected my Keyblade design, but then I found this!

The sword is called a Seax. I think my weapon is gonna be one!
I still have to run it by the Superior, but I pretty sure she'll agree.
Better get to designing my own. Maybe I'll draw it in here later.

It was very interesting, that meeting. I hate all the seriousness we must practice at them. Ugh, I felt fit to scream in that oppressing silence.
When I said I could wield a Keyblade, Nexan gave me this funny look. Something like surprise, worry, and a thirst for power all in one flash of the eyes. It was pretty creepy.
Anyways, things have gotten back to normal. Everyone is sketching out their weapons. Nexan rejected my sweet looking Keyblade design. Said I had to cover up my potential. I have NO idea what that's about. But who am I to disagree with the Superior?
By the way, I put the sketch of my rejected Keyblade design in here.

Now I'm gonna have to rethink my Keyblade. It has to look like a normal Organization weapon, Nexan said. Okay fine. I'll think about it. I'm leaning on the category of swords...

Nexan's Diary Entry i
Organization meting yesterday.
I expressed the need for them to get weapons, fast. They need to be able to use weapons that harness and help their powers grow. I, too still need to find a suitable weapon. I was think of a scythe. Lightweight, and pretty sweet looking. And fairly easy to build.
Maxsodin said she has the power to wield the keyblade. Strange, but if true can be very useful in defeating the other Keyblader. She and I will have to design and build on that doesn't look like a keyblade. That way, Sora may never know that she has this power. Speaking of which, they could be related. Xahssa has also said something about that. Must talk to Maxsodin soon. Before she makes a nuisance of herself.
Other than that, its hat season. Time to break out the Moogle hat.

Discussion on Weapons

The four members of the Organization sat around the dinning room table. A single light hummed quietly above them, ensuring that the room was lit and never truly silent. One of the black cloaked figures stood and pulled down her hood.
"We cannot relax and take our ease for long." She announced into the room, listening as her echo came faintly from the darkness from which the light could not penetrate. "Weapons is what we now need. Weapons from which we can better harness our powers and use them to our advantage."
She was momentarily distracted as another one of the cloaked figures shot up their hand, holding it high like a student in school who knows the answer.
"Like I was saying," she began again, not able to take her eyes off the arm that waved franticly; "These weapons will help us to defeat Sora once and for all. If he is not expected us to attack, then he will find he has made a fatal assumption."
The arm could not be ignored any longer. The standing figure sighed. "Yes, Maxsodin?"
The arm was slowly put down as the figure tried to recall what had made it stand erect in the first place.
"Um well...uh... oh yeah! Does a, uh, keyblade count as a weapon?"
The annoyance in he air became tense surprise.
"You have a keyblade then, Maxsodin?" the standing figure asked, her voice quiet with amazement.
"Well...yes. I do actually. Does that count as a weapon? You know, to help with my powers ans such?"
"Can you wield this keyblade and fight with it?" another cloaked figure asked, this time a male; without a doubt.
"Definitely!" she nodded. "The Darkness seems to flow through it and me whenever I hold it."
"Then that IS a weapon." he said with satisfaction.
The cloaked figure nodded with pleasure. "Right, that's one down. Now the rest of you ought to find a weapon soon."
"Right!" the other two chorused.
"Oh and one more thing. Maxsodin, what is the name of your Keyblade?"
"Wraith-Shadow"
Abomination

Hi! My name is Maxsodin. I'm Number Three in the Organization. Superior Nexan always says I need to learn to be a bit more evil. I don't know, I guess having the power of Darkness you'd expect me to be a malicious, fiendish person. But I'm not. Actually, I'm one of the funniest, happiest, and all around optimistic of the Organization.
Today we didn't do much. I guess that's what happens when your enemies don't know you exist. We all went to school. What, did you expect us to be twenty? No! The oldest in the Organization is Nexan, and she's 14. The rest of us are 13. But don't get us wrong, we can do some major damage! I made Nexan and Xahssa and Braxyd laugh all day long. It makes me happy to have everyone in the Organization in a light mood. We did this experiment in Science class with gram-crackers and frosting. I was soo looking forward to eating it when we were told to dunk a cracker in water. I did, and, well it fell in (it wasn't supposed to). It then got all slimy and squishy. It was disgusting!
Xahssa and Braxyd were laughing their heads off as my partner picked it up out of the cup, 'cause I was moaning and screaming with fear of the abomination. I WAS FREAKING OUT! If it hadn't been for the Ginger Ale I was given in Algebra, I would have surely been sick before the day was over at just the mere thought of that cracker. UGH!
Mitch isn't back yet. He's my Shadow Heartless, and he does the spying we need. Xahssa, Number Two, doesn't want me to have him. Nexan says we need him to do the spying. I agree whole-heartedly with Nexan. She's a good Superior.
Maxsodin OUT!
