Extract From the Diary of Nexan, v

Number VIII. Yes, we have an eighth member. His name is Lexamitch, and he controls time. Braxyd seems to have taken an instant disliking to him, though that could have been due to VIII temporarily using IV's bed. We have yet to secure him a room in the castle. Braxyd is such a brash person. I do wish his actions weren't so harsh, but thinking ahead is not one of IV's talents. No one was expecting Braxyd back so soon. It was rather nice while he was away, it gave VIII a chance to adjust to this new life. VIII is our strongest at magic, which will be extremely useful.

Unfortunately, I sense Maxsodin is once again being swayed by the Darkness. I do hate medicating her, but it is the only way she can stay somewhat sane. It tears my non-existent heart apart watching her suffer through the side effects off ILL. I can only hope we get Kingdom Hearts defeated soon. I will be working will all of the members soon to asses their talents, as well as mine. If everyone is deemed strong enough, we go into battle. We can't afford any casualties.

If everything goes as planned, we will have to administer one last dose of ILL and then go into battle against an enemy that does not fight back physically. As long as our minds hold up, our bodies will. I know each of us will fight our separate battles in the war for our hearts, but ultimately we will get everything back that II, III, IV and myself never knew.
